Why do we need a House of Hope?

orph

Did you know?

  • There are well over 160,000 orphans in Ukraine

  • Each year 38,493 orphans age out of the orphanage system

  • Every 2.2 seconds another orphan ages out of their orphanage with no place to call home

  • 1 out of 10 of these children commit suicide before they reach the age of 18

  • 6 out of 10 girls become prostitutes and 7 out of 10 boys become hardened criminals

  • In the last 3 years 6000 orphans found themselves in the streets with no place to go

Our vision

Our House of Hope near Odessa, Ukraine, is a temporary stay transitional home for young people 14 years and older, who have nowhere to go after being released from orphanages without support.
House of Hope offers these youth a safe home, where:

• Orphaned children and youth receive care they were forced to grow up without
• Loving Pastors provide mentoring and spiritual guidance
• Volunteers and missionaries help kids learn useful skills and feel cherished

With our House of Hope at final stages of completion we’re so looking forward to bringing more orphans to become residents of our House. We want to see them grow and established in their faith, learn important life skills, receive physical, emotional and spiritual healing, so they can become a next generation of world changers!
